Pan Seared Ribeye Steak

2 boneless rib eye steak at least ½ lb each and about 1 ½" thick
1/2 Tbsp of Your Favorite Steak Seasoning
1/2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
3 Tbsp butter
2 whole peeled garlic cloves

 

Preheat your sturdiest pan for 2 min on medium high heat 

While your pan is heating, sprinkle each side of the ribeye steaks with steak seasoning and set aside

Add oil, butter, and garlic to the pan 

Once butter is melted add steaks and cook two minutes on each side basting with the pan sauce each time you turn your steaks

Cook for an additional 6-9 minutes, turning every 3 minutes, until your steaks are cooked to your preference (rare, 6 minutes - medium well, 8 minutes)

Remove from heat and put steak on a plate to rest for 10 minutes

Serve Immediately
